As an open source project, we don’t have too many issues with using open source code. It keeps us from re-inventing the wheel, and it’s highly unlikely we’ll want to use something that has a license that doesn’t suit us.
Even better, when we use someone’s code and modify or update it, we can just send those changes right back so that they can benefit from them too. Paying back, so to speak, even though none of the parties involved really owe each other anything.
Very traditional story, this is, but it’s also just really nice.
