It has an interesting vibe, right? Taking on another name.

And it’s not necessarily just because of the pseudo-anonymity it gives you. Actually, the fact that it’s usually a name you can be consistently recognized by is the better benefit if you ask me. It allows you to build social relationships using a name you chose for yourself.

I’m not sure what makes that so significant for me. Simply because it’s not the name I’m used to going by? Like trying to be a new person, escapism in a way. Or maybe because choosing it makes it more mine. Something I can make part of my identity.

…”Fang” might then come off as a bit aggressive, no?
