You can crash if you go too fast.
I recently discovered that the issue I’ve been having with my knees is also called runner’s knee. Now, if my physiologist had told me that at the time I would’ve actually been able to find some decent discussion on the topic. Better late than never I suppose. Right now, I’ll take all the advice I can get.
Last Friday I may have overdone it a bit on my run. I was a good one, sure, but that evening my knees were aching, and this continued the day after. It was clear I had messed up. So this week I’m taking it a little easier, making sure to take plenty of time to recover. Still felt them a little bit during today’s short run, but that pain didn’t stick around.
Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen again.
