This is going to be so good.
Only today, after staring at Ethereum code with the bossman for two days, did I realize the kind and scale of impact this move is going to have. If the libraries and application we’re writing for reading data off the chain and staying in sync with that can be good enough for more casual developing work that opens up the door to so many other cases that make use of Ethereum.
In a way, this is just one of the x fundamental powers of Urbit, it’s generally pretty good at interfacing with things outside its own network. But Ethereum, as janky as it may be, offers us the consensus system we’re still missing. Well, not missing per se, but we can definitely put it to very good use.
I should write more things about this, in a more serious document.
