There’s something really refreshing about a brand new network era.
Like fresh sheets on your bed, or new socks, or finally cleaning up your desk again. Everything is suddenly so clean and clear and nice. You remember what things were like when you started out, how nice they were then, and how time took its toll on all of that.
Eventually, of course, we’ll want the network to stay in that state forever. But right now the connections that spring up over time are enough to slow everything down. Messages that used to be sent to one or two need to get sent out to a hundred. That just takes time.
Lots of room for performance improvement though. We’ll get there someday.
