It isn’t even all the same, that’s the best part.

The Weird is making its way into our homes through the media. Cartoons especially are starting to slowly fall down that particular deep end. And its great, I really like that most of the time. But not always, which means there’s actually more to it than just straight, untainted absurdity.

It’s kind of hard to describe what makes absurdist comedy so good though. And why is it even a thing in the first place? What is it that pulls us so strongly towards that which makes no sense?

If you’re really good with words you could probably get away with saying this is peak culture So many layers of reaction and parody that the original is nowhere to be seen anymore.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go get walked by the dog.
