Obscure references!

Trying to get paid is turning out to be such a big pain.

You’d think that in our modern, globalist world hiring people from other countries to do work for you would be a fairly common thing. Apparently it isn’t, because legislation feels like it’s very much against people trying to do this. Something about incompatibility between different countries’ employment laws. Really, this shouldn’t be that hard, right?

I don’t know, maybe I just don’t understand the issue well enough, but that seems to be where we’re at currently. Frustrating, to say the least. Work continues, and happily so, but I do also want to move out, get my own place eventually. That can’t happen if this situation doesn’t improve.

We’ll figure it out, surely. Just have to hope that won’t take too long now.
