Fang Talks

Chichi Chichi Oppai Boing Boing

Have they always been burning this fiercely, or nah?

People say the world is going to shit, that it’s even worse than before. Is it really though? I can’t really tell. My memories from the past are tainted by a narrow field of view, and accounts from the older generation aren’t always as reliable as one would hope they are. Sure, a lot of crazy things are happening, but you have to factor in accessibility.

It’s much easier to know about crazy things these days than it used to be, what with the somewhat internationally connected world we’re living in now. News that used to be sourced from the province is now sourced from the nation. News that used to be sources from the nation is now sourced from all over the world. Suddenly, everything’s your back yard. And of course nobody wants things happening in their back yard.

Something or another thing about society being forced to change too fast.

I’m really not sure if the world is getting shitter, or if we’re just hearing more about it. It seems like things are going to hell though.

I don’t know. Today’s problems always seem worse than the ones in the past, if only because you know how the old problems turned out.

You might be onto something about our having just not known how crazy things were in the past…
