Fang Talks

That's cool and all, but how many planets does your software run on?

It wasn’t like I had serious plans for the weekend anyway, so this is cheaper than buying it!

America is big enough on its nature trails that they have a National Trails Day dedicated to them. It just so happens that the date for it is today, June third, one of the days on which I’m in the country! I could go out and hike a trail to celebrate. There’s an alternative I noticed though, which involves doing voluntary work to finish a new trail!

I’m guessing this involves all manners of manual labor involved in cleaning up a path to make it clear and accessible. Still vague on the details, but we’ll see how it goes! Lunch and participation in a raffle are included, so it’ll keep me busy and well-fed for the first half of the day.

They only accept a limited number of participants, so reservations are required. I put myself on the waiting list a couple of days ago, and due to cancelation a spot opened up and I managed to get in.

Kind of excited to help contribute to something I enjoy that isn’t computer stuff!

Ah, you fell for it. This is how we get immigrants to do free labor for us. IT’S A TRAP.

No, no, I’m kidding. That sounds pretty awesome.
