I just want to go places at a moments notice, you know?

This trip wasn’t extensively planned beforehand. I figured I’d just fly out and then see what I was going to do when I got here. And that’s what I’m doing! That becomes a problem though, when you need reservations. It seems a lot of parks and areas around here require a permit for camping or even entering, and apparently most places get rather crowded around this time of the year.

So for some places, there’s only a few spots left open, if any at all. I’ve been trying to look around, but there’s barely any parks that allow you to just roam freely without any requirements. That said, there’s also lots of nature that hasn’t been turned into an official state park, and I believe camping there is allowed as long as you stick to the regulations.

I’m going to have to find a way to make this work. Would be a shame to come all the way here and then not do what I had hoped to.

This is a country where you can be fined for collecting rainwater. I’m not sure what you expected. Hopefully you can find plenty of places to stay. At the very least you should be able to hire a backyard through a service like AirBNB. It’s not quite the same, but you will still be camping.
