Do the impossible, see the invisible

All in one place

This isn’t a post about the evils of centralization, promise.

It’s nice to not have to constantly back-and-forth for whatever you need. It’s why the concept of the encyclopedia stood the test of time, even as we gathered more and more and more information. Why bother jumping between ten different books when you can just keep one giant tome right in front of you?

Keeping all your tools for work close at hand is so important for productivity. It’s all about spending as much time as possible working towards your goal, rather than helping yourself work towards your goal. And if you have to help yourself in the middle of work, you also break flow. And nothing worse for morale and momentum than breaking flow.

Inline documentation saves lives.
