Strive to be

What kind of person do you strive to be?

Is that something most people can answer, or am I one of a rare few who spend too much time thinking about what they want to be like? Actually, no, that’s a lie. It’s not that I spend multiple hours a week contemplating my style of being. It just sort of happens, and I have strong opinions about it, I guess. And why wouldn’t I? It’s important to set yourself a “goal” of sorts, something to strive for.

I strive to be the kind of person who people want to be like. Now that may sound a bit egotistical, but I’d be missing the mark by a lot if it actually was. The thing is, a single person doesn’t have the power to change the world. It’s just too big for that. But if I’m “a good person”, I can change small things, locally. And if I can inspire people to do the same, the mentality will spread itself.

That’s the hope and dream, at least. And while I don’t feel like I’m doing a terrible job, there’s always room for improvement!

I do the best I can to be a good person. I’m not sure anyone ever notices.

I’m positive you are a good role model.
