This is the last post I’ll be writing on my own machine for a little while.
And that’s… kind of scary? I haven’t been unable to access my computer while at home for, well, for as long as I can remember. Yeah I’ve been away a couple of times, but then I don’t have access to any other computer either. This time, I do have some “resources” at my disposal. My mother’s laptop and a thumb drive with Ubuntu and only a few GBs of free space to work with. Okay.
Over the past couple months I’ve been storing plenty of movies on our home’s NAS though, and if I do want to get down to work most of the things I need run just fine on Ubuntu. And hey, the web is universally accessible, so that’s nice. But maybe this is also a good excuse to get away from the keyboard a bit more, give my arms that rest I know they need if I want to keep them going through the upcoming months.
Maybe there’s more to life than sitting behind a computer all day? *gasp*

That’s probably a good idea – give your arm a break.
A rest.
Not a break.
There’s no such thing as life outside of a computer screen bro. I don’t remember the last time I had absolutely no internet. Even now I have spare laptops and a phone that has a great browser. I have two consoles that can access the internet too. The only time I’ve been without the internet is when I go on holiday. When that happens I stock up beforehand, as you’ve done, and it’s fine. As long as you have the resources to do what you gotta do you’ll be good.
