Because I’ve been playing too much Eve Online lately.
Actually I haven’t even played all that much, but it’s definitely the topic of a large amount of my thoughts. Like I’ve said before, so much to see, so much to do, so much to learn. It’s a downright fascinating game. At the same time it’s kind of overwhelming though. I’ve been sticking with the thing I’ve had decent success with, not daring to venture further out and potentially getting my stuff destroyed again.
But I am somewhat preparing for that. Researching different techniques to increase safety and reduce risk. I’m starting to wrap my head around the combat mechanics, how your choice of weapons should be tailored to the maneuverability of your ship and that of your potential opponents.
And then there’s the moment you discover you need three weeks worth of skill training to fly that cool ship you have your eyes on.
