If you’re reading this, then I haven’t gotten around to writing a “live status update” post, because of a lack of a lack of Wi-Fi, time, phone battery, or a combination of those. But fear not, I’ll have plenty to tell and show when I get back!
In the mean time, this is really all you’re going to get. By now we’re probably traveling somewhere around Cusco. After that, we’ll be making our way north to the Amazone city Iquitos for some rad jungle adventures! Gotta scope that wildlife. Nature’s arguably one of the coolest parts of traveling to strange places. It’s familiar in the sense there’s trees, birds, etc. But they’re all just different from what you’re used to seeing.
Though I can’t tell you live, I can already guess I’m having a blast here!
Update, 14-06-2015: Plenty of Wi-Fi, slightly too little time. Currently in Iquitos, a city located in the Amazone jungle. It’s been great so far, but also very, very packed with activities. I’d have trouble keeping the events of the past two days within a reasonable word count, let alone the past two weeks. We’ll be heading out into the jungle first thing tomorrow morning. Here’s to surviving the heat, moisture and numerous dangerous and/or poisonous aninals we’ll encounter! See y’all soon!
