Not discrediting these past three point something years, but I want to take it a step higher.
With that I mean it might be cool to run a “real” website, where I post well-written articles on topics that genuinely interest me and I have something sharable to say about (most likely programming and game development related things). Something that’ll gather a following because of the content, not because of my small circle of internet acquaintances. Something that I can show people and actually be proud of.
But I don’t think I can do that right now. Even casual pieces like you see on here all the time are not that great. Imagine them covering more content in more details. It’s just stretching out the suffering for longer. Besides, I can’t possibly still run this thing on the side in such a scenario. Fang Talks will have to fall one day, like it was always meant to.
Even with this blog gone I don’t think I’d be able to write out good pieces once a week (which, let’s be real, is a rough minimum for those seeking an active audience). I simply don’t have that many wise things to say. I’m still a rookie in all fields. But maybe that allows me to write from a fresh new perspective? Or is that what all rookies who start writing articles say?
First things first though, got to work on my serious writing skills.
