Well shit, looks like I jinxed it.
Last night I decided to order some cakes for SSSoftware’s opening party. Well, I ordered too many and ended up accidentally bankrupting my own company on its very first day of existence. Guess that’s a new record? I don’t know, for some reason the cakes were super pricey. Maybe it was the date? Yeah, yesterday was April fools, and I conned you all!
The little mention on the blog here wasn’t nearly as sweet as the thing I pulled on the folks I know in real life though. I faked an official document, one of those “data extract” things you can get for companies. Put my own info on there and made it look all official. Took a picture of it and shared it in various WhatsApp groups, along with a link to the website. Hook, line and sinker. Sadly I couldn’t post the image on here, what with it containing personal information and all, but the lie still went well regardless.
That isn’t to say triple-S is completely fake. For now though, it will just remain a website with nothing on it. Maybe I’ll shove future projects under it, maybe I won’t. Truth of the matter is that I’m working on some interesting things that may or may not make me a very well known developer. Probably not, but you never know.
Hope y’all had a great April 1st yesterday!

Shame you didn’t actually start a company. You should do it. You know, when you reach that level of skill.
