Support problems

The little dude’s just so damn fast.

I think I caught a cold or something? Already been a bit cough-y lately, and today no minute would pass without me having to hold a bucket under my nose to catch all the outgoing mucus. It makes you feel like shit, and so I haven’t been able to do all that much today. Intended on styling up the smaller pages of SSR2, and then maybe taking another look at im- and exporting. But alas, today was not a day meant for progress.

Honestly I’d type out a bit more if only I had actually done something today, but instead I fucked around, spent three goddamn hours trying to get Mirror’s Edge running again and did a small amount of shredding on my guitar. Sick licks, if you catch my drift.

So much for the daily status report. Better get some sleep so I can hopefully have a slightly better day tomorrow.

As tempting as Mirror’s Edge 2 looks, I’ll have to decline because EA is awful.

Have you tried simply plugging your nose with tissues? It looks odd, but sometimes it works for me.

That’s what I’ve been doing, actually, hehe.

I didn’t know you played an instrument.

I’m in the process of making music, myself. I’m “learning” piano and guitar, but I’m lazy/forget/I sing anyway.

Right now I’m about to record some covers.

Got any song recommendations? I’m sort of into Arctic Monkeys lately (or at least that’s the band that I’ve been listening to and feel comfortable recommending because pop and rock is generally acceptable.

The Sounds and Blondfire are the two most recent bands I’ve listened to.
Where the Kids Are (by Blondfire) has been in car commercials on this side of the pond.
I don’t know if The Sounds have been in anything, yet Blondfire opened for them.

Yeah, but only casually and I’m not even all that good. Lack a huge chunk of experience and knowledge of music theory, haha.
Arctic Monkeys are good, been listening to them recently too. But don’t let “generally unacceptable” genres keep you from recommending them. I’m basically all about indie artists, and all genres are welcome in my ears.
