Phew! Save for some browser compatibility issues, the new design is fully implemented!

Hurray! After a few days shy of a month in the making, FT4 is finally finished and ready for launch! Pretty excited about the move, but I’m afraid it’ll have to wait ’til tomorrow. I still need to get a couple things sorted out, make sure everything is ported over correctly, all that good stuff. Not to mention making sure all your feeds of me keep functioning (though I’ll provide emergency instructions for those in need). I don’t expect things to go entirely smoothly, but I’ll do my best to make things as painless as possible! If you don’t see a post appear around the usual time tomorrow, try going to manually.

I’m starting to get the hang of WordPress and its flexibility. Hell, in making the new and improved archive page I discovered you can make custom templates and tell specific pages to use them. So many possibilities! Chances are I’ll make a special template for Caves posts, so the opening and closing sentences are more separate, or something like that.
Speaking of Caves, from the sound of your comments I did pretty well in that last part. It was a pretty long one, admittedly pretty tiring to write since I feel like I still struggle with action. Hearing it turned out well is a huge reward though, and made my day. Thanks! There’s plenty more where that came from.

To sum up the most important part, moving tomorrow. Stay on your toes and check if you hear nothing!

And then WordPress updates and everything breaks. Have I mentioned that before? I’ll mention it again. It’s awful.

I’ve not had any reader compatibility issues when it comes to switches, but this is the first switch under my new reader. So, we’ll see how it goes. Anyway, it’s good to hear all the hard work paid off.
