Fang Talks

If you're reading this, step away from your screen for a while.

We’re taking a break from the apparently usual gamedev posting, and return to our old personal blogging.

God, this fucking day. I don’t know, it’s not even that it was fucking terrible, but it just feels that way for some reason. Got up at half past ten in the morning, which is early for me, seeing as how I could very well have slept in ’til two. Messed around a bit, did some more tutorial following, and headed for school at around three. Sat there for two and a half boring-ass hours, sort of paying attention, but not the full one hundred percent.

I left a little earlier to catch my train. It was cool with everyone, and I’d do the stuff for the project as soon as I finished dinner. My train left at twenty past six. The trip home usually takes about an hour. It was after eight by the time I got home. Ugh, so fucking annoying. This may sound a bit blunt, but people need to stop getting hit by trains. It makes such a huge mess, and forces a lot of people to stand in the cold for hours, waiting for a bus that never comes.
(But yeah, sorry for the person who got hit. My thoughts go out to their family and friends.)

So then I get back home, have a rather shitty meal, fire up the laptop and want to start working on school stuff for a change. Bam bam bam, a couple of unread emails for work. Been a while since I’ve really done stuff for it, and it was all nice and chill, but ugh, now I have to spend time on that as well. Most of the stuff doesn’t even earn me any money since it’s just small stuff like sending emails and such.

Oh well. The weekend’s begun for me, so I shouldn’t be complaining really.

I was having a conversation with someone about this recently. If you’re going to commit suicide, don’t do it by train. You traumatize the people that see it, you make a ton of people late for work, you create a huge mess. If you think about it, it’s really selfish. Either get help or do it another way. I know it sounds cold, but it’s true.

Someone got hit by the train you were on? I find it odd when people do that. It’s usually deliberate in some way. Well anyway I’m not really sure I can keep commenting on that but you should keep doing your work stuff even if it’s the stuff that you don’t really get paid for. You should always feel free to complain though.
