Just when you think your issue’s getting resolves.
So I’m still having trouble moving my blog under the fang.io domain. As said before, I can’t access the DNS settings for that domain with my host, so they need to fix that for me. Sen out an email, got a generic, automated reply back. When I replied to that, I did get an useful answer. Standard procedure. They asked me to send them my account’s PIN, I guess so they can validate I’m the owner or something like that. With that PIN, they’ll be able to patch it up. At least, that’s what I thought.
More than a day later I get another automated email, telling me that, due to the complexity of my issue, it’s been escalated and handed to the “advanced technical support”. Okay, very well then. You told me you could fix it, I give you “permission” to, and then you need to escalate it.
Well, I sort of understand, given how they’ll probably have to mess with some of my account information or something, but come on. It’s been over a day already since that email, and nothing’s happened yet. You’d think they’re “advanced” when it comes to support, and thus know when and how to hurry up, but nope.
So for now, the issue remains unresolved, and I’ll have to put up with this terrible domain name for a bit longer. (Because be honest, having just “fang” as the main part of your domain is pretty cool.) I’ll keep you guys posted, but you’ll probably notice from the URL when this stuff’s all done and over with.
