You know how I ranted about KickStarter a while back, but said it did have some cool stuff on there?

Check this out.
What it boils down to is that those guys invented something that can make your everyday computer a lot faster. Now, this kind of stuff comes really expensive, so it isn’t really consumer-market ready.

That’s where their KickStarter bumps in. They want to us the funding they get to make it more affordable, and “allow everyone to have a supercomputer for just 99 Dollars”. It sounds great, and the fact that parallel computer is going to become widely used gets me excited, so I really hope these guys can pull it off.

The goal hasn’t been met yet, and there’s seven days left, so if you have some spare money laying around, please fund them!

Out for now,
~ Fang

A friend told me about this like 3 hours ago but couldn’t give me any specifics about the project’s name or even that it was on kickstarter.
What a coincidence I stumble upon it right here ;). Definitely gonna spend something!
Also, just found this blog. Lovely design! Following and now checking out the other posts!

It sounds like a pretty interesting project, and it should do a lot of good if it succeeds. Which it hopefully will. I found it charming how with their limited pledges the amount of pledges available are the number of bytes in something. If that makes any kind of sense. I’m sure you know what I mean.
