Fang Talks

I was wondering, do you guys listen to classical music, or similar stuff?

With “similar stuff” I’m aiming at music that uses instruments often associated with classical music such as violins, classical piano, cello, etc, and puts the focus on that/those instruments. The question popped up in my head just now, and I’m curious as to what your responses will be.

Me? I do, occasionally. Usually it’s not any of those really old pieces, but the more modern ones that still stick to the musical style of the classical genre. A bit higher tempo on average, a bit more modern a flavour, and still beautiful instruments. I’m not a violin fan, but Lindsey Stirling manages to pull them off pretty damn well.

The wife used to play violin in an orchestra so there is always classical music going on in my house…

As long as it sounds good, why not?

Classical music is frigging awesome! I have so many favourite “old” pieces and I adore Lindsey Stirling too! I’ve often posted her songs on my blog :)

    I listen to Chopin sometimes…

Not really, no. I’m sorry, but classical just doesn’t suit me.

I like classical music, but I hardly ever listen to it, mostly because there aren’t any words to sing along to.

I do really enjoy classical music. I have a classical playlist on Youtube actually. I don’t listen to it much, but I always enjoy it when I do.
