Fang Talks

Power of youth

And for every generation that goes, another generation of Blogoheroes is born.

Mark recently had his first Blogoversary, and in a post about it he mentioned that he’s seen a lot of blogs just die, whilst quite a few new ones keep popping up as well. And it’s true, but we must also take into account the ones that rise from an apparent death.

I’ve been holding my stand here in the Blogosphere for well over a year now, and I’ve seen many a blog come and go. Often people were driving by the prospect of running ads on their blog and gaining money through that, but those are often the ones who leave quickest.

There is no greater joy on the internet than seeing a post appear in the feed from a blog you really liked, but thought was gone, done and abandoned.

It’s sad though, that you know some people out there are active, but don’t blog even though they’ve always done so. Pointing slightly mad fingers as Bien and especially Sophia. You haven’t finished the A to Z yet I believe, like seriously.

Ahwell. Here’s to all the great blog that died. May they hopefully come back someday.

I actually commented at Mark’s before on my opinion that blogs have died since the emergence of Facebook and Twitter, that is until I saw a whole big bunch of blogs earlier this year (via Dwei and Mark)

I’ve been around for years, and probably will stay around until google decides to pull blogger off it’s shelves or something…

If people were only blogging for advert space then their blogs should be the first ones to die lol I hate blogs covered in ads!

Since I started blogging I’ve seen a few blogs I’ve loved come and go :(
Hopefully it won’t happen to mine anytime soon lol

RIP to the good blogs that have gone…. :(

I hope there’s a rush of new blogs in the summer to replace the ones that have disappeared…

Is JOutlaw still around? I generally try and keep track of fellow Canadian bloggers but I think he’s another one that bit the dust.

Even I finished my A-Z and it started a month late, and lasted two months >_>. It is always nice when a blog you thought was dead came back, but I haven’t experienced that too much.
