As you’ve probably heard a ton of times by now, I’ve got finals coming up.
Serious business, really. I absolutely have to pass this, as I am really not looking forward to spending another year at this school after everyone else graduated and left already.
But bluh, it’s really stupid. So much depends on just one single test for each subject.
Take the languages, for example. Final tests for the languages are pretty much just reading-tests. You get presented with a bunch of small articles or other texts and questions pertaining to those texts. This completely leaves other skills such as writing, listening and communicating out of the image! Sure, we’ve had tests on those before, but they only count towards your final grade for up 10%, no more than that!
With beta subjects such as biology and physics though, the finals tests tend to be a bit easier than the other tests we’ve had so far. They cover all the stuff we’ve learned in ever, in a test that may only take you three hours at max, so they mostly only scratch the surface for most topics, which is really convenient. The basics are still mostly in your head, and often those are all you need. Of course, they’ll go a little bit more in depth here and there, but in general it’s really very doable.
I shouldn’t be stressing out so much, though I also should go and study more.
