Clarifications

I think the time’s right to tell you guys how I roll with project and such.

Remember that HTML and CSS crash course I started a while back? Nothing new happened to it, right? Apologies to those who were genuinely interested, but here’s the deal. I just don’t have the time nor the motivation. Actually, time isn’t that big an issue, it’s motivation, lack of interested, and that I’ve got better things to do with my time.

I started that to help people out a bit, also as a build-up to a custom Blogger template guide, and a tutorial on how to do the tabs as seen on my blog. But things got in the way, it started dragging on, and I eventually lost motivation, and thus no longer had any fun in writing it.

See the links up there? “BLOG GUIDES SERVICES PORTFOLIO”? Well it’s shit, and I’ll probably do away with both guides and services pretty soon. Fiction may come and take in their place, but that’s uncertain to say the least.

(Almost an hour later, Fang continues writing on this post.)
I do what I do for fun. Because I enjoy doing it, or enjoy helping people or whatever. Once I no longer find it fun to do, BAM, that’s it, done with it. Chances are I’ll pick up dropped projects sooner or later, but don’t pin me down on it. I’ll roll with it if I so decide to. Can’t live my life swimming against my own current, now can I?

Guess I just cleared something up which didn’t really need any clearing up or specific mentioning at all, huh.

First the web design course I wanted to take fills up, and now you won’t teach me html either. Woe is me ;(

Oh well, your blog, you do what you want to do with it.

Nah I think it needed clearing up. You do what you want, you follow no ones rules. Not even your own. Really though if you don’t find it fun, don’t do it.
