I can’t help but make shitty puns and titled with my alias every now and then. The good ol’ “How about I Mark my territory?” *eyebrow wiggle* still wins it every time though. (Yes my real name is Mark. Nice to meet you. Stalk more.)
Firstly, slightly unrelated to todays post, but related to yesterdays. Phrozen told me to do my own version of this audio book thingemabob. Well, all I can really say is… that that doesn’t even sound like half bad a plan. I might just do it. I know what anime it’s from, but haven’t watched it or know anything about it really, so joke’s on you, but it has potential nonetheless. Also allows for me to get opinions on an audio-book style thing I’ve been toying with it my head. EXCITING, ANOTHER PROJECT I’LL NEVER EVER FINISH.
But now for the real content of todays post. Went over to a friend’s today, and we somehow decided it was a cool idea for him to teach me a bit of guitar. So yeah, sure.
It isn’t that hard actually, once you get the hang of it. Apparently I’m catching on quickly, or at least am doing okay, so that’s pretty sweet. Done nothing but basics and single-finger chords yet though. But hey, it’s a start.
Tried playing on my lil’ sisses acoustic guitar (my friend has an electric one) but it plays very differently, and harder, especially since I’m just starting out. Have to press the strings harder, can’t go as low/high (low on the neck, high when you’re listening to tones) as I could on the electric one due to the neck having a huge bulge when it reaches the body, and yadda yadda. Also it was so out of tune that the E was more like an A. Real pity she never uses that thing anymore.
Ahwell, electric is so much cooler anyway.
So yeah, if I keep the liking I currently have, I may be playing guitar soon!
