You read that right, it’s an USB with a hardware (hands-on, real-deal) combination lock of five letters you can easily customise yourself!

Seriously, check it out. It’s utterly amazing. As soon as these get taken into production, and I can import them (or better even, buy they locally), I’ll get my hands on a 16GB one. Like, daaamn, that is so cool!

It’s basically a USB stored in a small cylindrical safe with a neat little 5-letter combination lock. Unlock the lock, take the USB out, and use it. Maybe change the combination in the mean time!

As you can see, it’s racked up a huge amount of funds from supporters already, as well as some companies sponsoring it. I can’t wait to actually buy one of these, the look amazing (and secure, of course)!

If you can, save up money to buy one of these. Just do it, you won’t regret it.

What’s stopping the determined from breaking it open?

Wow! A lock complete with encryption and decryption? That sounds very secure indeed, but I can’t help but think that most people won’t really need something like this unless they feel paranoid about exposing their files.

I’d rather have an online tracker on my USB so I could find it whenever I lost it somewhere.

Well if you pledge $175 you can have one when they’re made :) They do look awesome, but don’t forget to use TrueCrypt to encrypt it software wise!
