Fang Talks

I‘m getting distracted from what I should be doing, as always.

After slightly speedboosting my old MacMini (looking into a new laptop, a regular one. Any recommendations? Intel i7 would be very nice), I decided to give LoL (League of Legends) another go. It ran terribly last time.
But what’s this? They killed the Mac version? Oh, Riot, you bunch of fuckers.

Went ahead and took the time to get myself a modded edition, and now I can run it anyway.
Sure, average of 8fps at lowest settings isn’t that great (especially when it drops to much lower during team fights), but it does the trick for now. (Though I sometimes end up getting killed because of terrible lag.)

It’s quite a fun game, really. Still getting the hang of everything, looking into any champions I want to buy. Teemo seems pretty fun to play, and Warwick is interesting, too. I haven’t played her yet, but Nidalee is one of my favourites already. ANIMAL FORME, BITCHES.

But, like I said, I’m pretty new to the game. Played 2 matches so far, both co-op vs AI with people I don’t know, lost ’em both. Maybe because I wasn’t playing Master Yi all that great. (I want to try and stick with one champion for a while to get the hang of him/her, and then move on if he/she still plays shit for me.)

More about this later on when I’m a little bit better at this whole thing, and have found a way to up the fps. In the mean time, like I asked, notebook recommendations would be wonderful. I need something future-proof, if that isn’t too much to ask for. And intel processor is a must, due to easy modding stuff (I intend to run Mac OSX on it).

Good luck having a great Monday!

I’d just play DOTA 2. Anything Valve touches turns to gold.

It’s the Midas touch of the video games industry!

LoL is one of those games I’d kinda like to play, but I know I’d suck at it, and I don’t know if I want to suck at it. As for Notebooks, sorry got no recommendations.

The dota platform community isn’t that great, so please don’t be discouraged when you get called very, very bad names and your mother gets mentioned. These dota-like games can get very intense, meaning the teens can’t calm their hormones, leading to huge rage talks. I’ve only played League of Legends for a little while, and then decided to stay to the original Warcraft 3 dota, which in my opinion, is not as accessible, but it’s superior in terms of game feel, map and heroes, which are key, in my opinion. If you’re looking to get a new laptop, get one of the alienwares, check out their website through google. The most reliable pc’s out there, with amazing support.
