Fang Talks

Mr. Poopybutthole

THE WIND IS GOING CRAZY OVER HERE, TOTALLY UNREAL AIR.

But that’s not the important thing.
A lot of those happened today. Well, two pretty major ones.

I just finished chatting with a long-time internet friend. Hadn’t spoken to him in exactly a year and a day. Oh boy, I sure missed those times.
We both changed a lot, but our conversations are still the same old awesome and helping each other and all that jazz that friends do. (I know you’re reading this. ;D)

But that is far from the most important thing.
My dad works at printing/publishing company, and he has told his colleagues that I’m into web development and programming and stuff. Today they came with the need of an eBook app for mobile devices. As in, you download an app that is actually a book. Why? Normal eBooks (.pfd, .eBook, etc) are too easy to pirate. So one of them came to my dad, “can’t your son do that?”.
When he came home, he told me about this proposal, and that I’ll get paid if I can give them a good, functioning app.
Now, know that I have for the life of me not developed even the tiniest iOS app. However, making a book app can never be that hard, especially not if I decide to use xCode’s special features.
So this has obviously gotten me very thrilled (as you can probably judge from the way I word things right now), and I immediately said yes.

Tomorrow he’ll ask what the app needs to be able to do, relay that information to me, and I’ll come with the basic app idea and design. OH BOY OH BOY.

(I skipped the album recommendation again. But this is MORE IMPORTANT.)

I use an app like that for one of my textbooks. It’s a good solution, because I was actually looking for an ebook version to pirate but couldn’t :(

It’s cool to talk to people you haven’t talked to in a while. Sometimes. It can go bad lol. Good luck designing the app though :) Hope it goes well, and also that you still have some free time.
