Had Dutch literature history and maths today. I’ll most likel be re-doing Dutch, as it went sort of shitty. Was a little short on time, too. Ahwell.
Maths went great. It was a bit tougher than I expected (I expected cake, I got a cake in a box wrapped in duct-tape), but I think I did pretty well. Some questions with a high point-value were really tricky, and I only got halfway on those. Meh, my GREAT AND OBVIOUSLY CORRECT ANSWERS on the other questions will make up for it.
‘Twas a nice test.
Maybe even enjoyed it a little bit.
I’m thinking of setting up a private online Touhou scoreboard. My knowledge of MySQL is very, very limited, and my PHP know-how is zero. If anyone in the audience has even a teensy tiny bit of an idea on how to program this, please stay in the auditorium after my speech. Help would be much appreciated.
It’d work something like this: You log in with a group’s name and password (to make it private), and get presented a page with a scoreboard (of which you can select what game it’s from and whatnot). Above it are some text fields and an “upload file” field. Text fields include “name”, “score”, “stage”, and “notes”. Three dropdown menus have you the game, character and difficulty you played to getting said score. You can optionally upload the replay file, too.
Submitting it obviously submits the score to the database. Only the top-25 scores will be saved, to avoid filling my site’s disk space with over nine-thousand replay files.
So yeah, any help with that would be appreciated.
On yesterday’s note, turns out I’ve been using a
cereal serial comma. That there is a link to the Wikipedia article. Turns out it’s neither right nor wrong at the moment. DEBATES ARE HEATING UP or not.
But that’s all for today. See you!
