This is me, doing a desperate shoutout. Sort of.
We all known Macs are expensive. Most of you know I just can’t live with Windows. And quite a few of you will know that Macs are a pain in the crack to upgrade.
If you happen to know someone who is a Mac tech savvy, or you’re on yourself, answer me this: can I go about and do a complete upgrade of my Macmini (early 2006 model) without spending a fortune?
I want a bigger, better internal harddrive, new video card, a new processor if possible, and maybe even an extra ram slot.
I’m having such good fun writing this. Upgrading my Macmini? Seriously? Pfffffwhahahaha!
Seriously, though, I know it’s almost impossible to do, but if you know someone who knows how, then please, please send them here.
Orrrrrr I could just save up and buy a Macbook Pro, costing 2.7k if I want it to be the way I want it.
Off to a distant island, where I’ll be enslaved and forced to work my ass off.
Well, not really, but it comes close enough.
By the time you read this, I’m either stil on the ferry, or have already arrived. I’m going to Vlieland, one of the Dutch Islands. Google it, I dare you.
There, I’ll be working for a week, return Friday evening, go to the Animecon on Saturday, do tons of homework on Sunday, and then start school again on Monday. Well, the working earns me some money, so I shouldn’t complain.
That’s what I’ll be doing, and that’s why I’ve set up scheduled posts for the entire week. Huzzah!
I will have occasional internet acces, I think, but I most likely won’t be updating anything in that time, so this is my good-bye for now.
Have a nice week!
Oh and one little big thing, this is the 100th post on this blog! Not only that, but we also reached 10k total views a few days back. So, thank you all for your support, and I’ll have a proper celebration post later on!
Notch posted this yesterday, on his Twitter and Tumblr.
As you can see, it’s going to be pretty cool. I think a lot of RPG servers have been craving something like this: world and town maps.
The hard limit on the amount of unique maps seems, well, pretty big. Even if you’re running a huge server with, like, a thousand active members, every member would still be able to posses around 63 unique maps each. So I think Notch should just let that limit be, really. Maybe try to remove the limit when it gets REALLY big, but that’s still in the distant future.
That’ll be all for today!
That’s right. Be afraid.
From tomorrow onward, ’till May 7th, I got scheduled posts set up for you. Don’t expect much, I did them all in the last one and a half hours.
No, really, don’t expect much. My normal posts are already very low in atistic, creative, or original content, so my hastily made scheduled ones won’t be much better.
But, you know, I’m busy, so
DEAL WITH IT.
I’ll see you in a few days!
Doctor who? Doctor Who.
I just started watching it. Have only seen the first episode of the remake that started in 2005, but I’m liking it already.
For those of you not familiar with the series, shame on you. It’s hell-a popular, have you been living under a rock or something?
Well, it’s got its base in England, but it’s still pretty big.
I guess I’ll give you a quick summary, then. It’s about an alien who travels through time and space in his ship cleverly disguised as a 50s police phone box (or something similar), and pretty much saves humanity’s ass all the time.
Also, check this video out. You may or may not have seen that dude before.
He’s in a band, Chameleon Circuit. They make songs about Doctor Who. I plan on buying a CD, so be sure to check them out!
