Fang Talks

Obscure references!

That’s right, I’m seeing how pretty fucking bad my tech situation is right now.

So, I launched Steam today, for the first time in ages. I was still on the free Portal download screen. I tried it, it downloaded for free, even though the action is long over. Lucky.

Less lucky, however, is the fact that when I tried to run it, shit happened. Well, not literally, but let me explain.
It gave me a generic warning about my video driver being to weak and blah blah, but I thought it could handle it for at least a little bit. I did expect it to be extremely laggy, too.
What I did not expect was that I wouldn’t see any of the graphics at all. Just some green/pink messed up glitchy imagery.

FUCK.
MY GEAR IS OUTDATED.
WHERE IS MY MONEY?

I don’t have the money for a Macbook Pro, even though I’ve been saving up. My iPod Touch also is in need of an upgrade. Damnit, everything is so expensive. (I feel a Windows fanboy shitstorm incoming…)

By the way, one of you suggested a game top-five. I’ll be saving that as draft, and scheduled posting it while I’m in Rome. Thanks for the suggestion!

Now we’re on that topic again, more suggestions for posts you’d like to see would be nice!

I agree with DBtG5! I could never keep up with all the new technology.

Well, I was going to tell you: “Buy a PC”, but looks like you are not really interested on it… And well, games, games… it’s not like a top five, but I really enjoyed playing Left4Dead (Both of them, Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War (specially Dark Crusade, that one was the shit, Team Fortress 2, League of Legends (Free, woo!) and *drumroll* PORTAL! Ta-daa! Looks like I’m a valve fanboy… :/
