Fang Talks

Is that a short joke?

I can’t even leave for a small week without shit happening everywhere. What is this?

So yeah, you’ve probably all heard it on the news by now. Japan is getting hit by earthquakes, tsunami’s, volcanoes and nuclear power plants going all instable.

Jep, the situation there is pretty shitty at the moment. Lots of dead already, mainly because of the tsunami’s. Lots of buildings destroyed, too. Almost the entire coast got wiped out there.

Thanks to this youtube video I got the idea of doing a similar action.
Stand alongside a busy road for an hour, holding signs saying stuff like “honk if you love Japan!” and “honk to donate to Japan!”, that kind of stuff. We’ll try and gather up a bunch of people who’ll all pay a certain amount of money per honk. We’ll then count the honks, multiply it per person, add it all up, and I’ll make a (hopefully) massive donation to the Red Cross.
…that is, if it’s legally allowed to do something like that where I live. I sure do hope so, would be bullshit if it isn’t legal.

So I was wondering, would any of you be interested in donating, too? I’ll post the donation logs and all, but for some people that isn’t enough credibility. It’s fine by my book if you make your donation on your own, but it’d be cool if I could butt in there and slam down a donation of, say, a hundred euros.

Please let me know what you think, and I’ll see you guys next time!

I think that a donation button on your blog couldn’t hurt. Or you could link to the Red Cross or another charity site. :)
